The First Step

Dear all,

This is my very first step into making a journal for my jogging journey.
I am 25 years old and 5 months as of today, September 13, 2010.  I have a very special reason for choosing today, this date, 13th September, to begin my official jogging journey. Don't ask me why, as this is something really unique and special deep in me.

I love jogging. This is one activity that really give me a unique sense of satisfactions, something that no money can buy. There is this special saying, "Aches from running is good". Do you agree with this? I strongly do. And I love this aches.

Its almost 1 year and eight months I last jogged. Throughout these 20 months, I totally miss the feeling of jogging. The breeze in the air running against your face, the scenery (buildings, greenery, cars, even smoke, and hot guys and girls) that you can see, the sense of satisfaction, and many many more.

Yesterday was the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run-Army Half Marathon (AHM). I missed it again for the 3rd time since I discover my love for jogging. With that, I have yet to join any runs/race at all. Not a single time I joined any of these. I wasn't ready for this year event as I have not trained. This time, I am more determined than ever to get back my love of jogging. I will and must join the AHM in 2011 and when I do join AHM in 2011, this shall not be the very first event I am joining as I am looking forward to other events too.

I guess alot of things I just mentioned are easier said than done. Many times this year, I keep telling myself to start jogging, but I failed to. This journal here shall engrave my determination, and provide a day to day (if possible) journal on my jogging regime.

I am aiming to start jogging twice a week starting from this week, with the hope of increasing it to four times a week. I have thought of a daily jog routine, but realise that this is not possible for me due to my work and school schedule. But nevertheless, I will try my best.

Wish me luck.
Thanks.
